Ampowr has successfully finished and AmpiHOME project in the U.K.

The challenge
As many countries and geographical areas are experimenting, the energy expenses are exponentially increasing and certain households drive to be more autonomous and also even reach an off-grid situation. Moreover, in certain areas, the chances of a power outage are higher and certain areas want to be 100 % covered against any adverse situation.
Energy continuity in mobile homes, the solution.
A combination of solar panels installation together with AmpiHOME residential battery storage system of 10kWh.
Adding residential energy storage to the solar installation can take the maximum from the solar panels installed in mobile homes. This additional access gives users full control of how and when to use their solar energy.
Thanks to the IP65 rating of the AmpiHOME, it was possible to make the installation outdoors, as you can see in the picture below. IP (Ingress Protection) rating has been used in the industry of energy to classify the effectiveness of electrical enclosures in protecting the contained equipment from exposure. That exposure can be solids or liquids, eg. water. Due to its longevity and durability in adverse weather conditions, the AmpiHOME system is ideal for use all over your property, from indoors to outdoors, in case the user doesn’t want to occupy extra space inside of the house.
In addition to this, the end-user showed great satisfaction with the design compared to other alternatives available in the market.
