The 30th Signal Regiment is holding a charity event called Exercise SWAN ENDURANCE to promote Army Teamwork, physical and mental resilience, and raise funds for the Army Benevolent Fund and Royal Signals Charity. Ampowr will be sponsoring the event.
The 30th Signal Regiment, based outside Coventry, is preparing for a unique and challenging charity event called Exercise SWAN ENDURANCE, scheduled for the 20th and 21st of April 2023. This event is set to promote Army Teamwork, physical and mental resilience, and raise funds for two registered charities, the Army Benevolent Fund and Royal Signals Charity.
The challenge involves pushing a Military Land Rover over 100 miles in 24 hours, with teams of members from the 30th Signal Regiment taking turns to push the vehicle. This feat has never been attempted before, making it an exciting and daunting challenge that requires a great deal of effort and teamwork.
The Army Benevolent Fund is a registered charity that supports serving soldiers, veterans, and their families during times of hardship. The Royal Signals Charity, on the other hand, provides support to serving and retired members of the Royal Signals, as well as their dependents, in times of need.
To support this worthy cause, Ampowr, a company committed to supporting charitable causes and giving back to the community, will be sponsoring the event. The sponsorship is a testament to the company’s commitment to supporting charitable causes and making a positive difference in the community.
The event serves as a reminder of the dedication and sacrifice of military personnel and their families, highlighting the need for ongoing support and assistance. It’s a unique opportunity to recognize the contributions of the military community, while also raising funds for two great charities.
